    Alpha Airline Pilot Program and Airbus A320 Type Rating

  • Requirements:

    Eligible Borrowers

    • Filipino citizens
    • Applicant must be a trainee of Alpha Aviation Group Philippines AIrline Pilot Program (APP) or Airbus A320 Type Rating
    • Parents or immediate relatives to act as principal borrowers while trainee to act as co-borrower
    • AUthorization from borrowers to credit loan proceeds to AAG's RCBC Saving Bank account
    • Other conditions of the housing loan product shall apply

Pilot training financing description

The program is known as Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program and the support is provided through RCBC's multi-purpose MyHome Housing Loan.

The program is open to Filipino nationals and can be used to assist in the financing of training for Alpha Aviation Group Philippines full integrated airline program or for the shorter Airbus A320 type rating program.

The programs are structured as follow:

  1. Alpha Airline Pilot Program
    1. 13 month paybreak
    2. Cadets only pay the first monthly amortizations 390 days after loan release
    3. Parent or immediate relative can act as the principal borrower, while the cadet acts as co-borrower
    4. Regular amortization via auto debit arrangement
    5. Minimum loan amount of P500,000
    6. Loan value - 80% of the appraised value for borrower's primary residence or 70% of the appraised value for collateral that is not occupied by the borrower
    7. Term either a maximum of 10 years for borrower's primary residence or a maximum of 5 years for any residential property registered under the borrower's name provided
  2. Airbus A320 Type Rating Program
    1. 4 month paybreak
    2. Cadets only pay the first monthly amortizations 120 days after loan release
    3. Parent or immediate relative can act as the principal borrower, while the cadet acts as co-borrower
    4. Regular amortization via auto debit arrangement

Interest Rates are indicative:

  • 5.99% - fixed for 1 year
  • 6.88% - fixed for 2 to 3 years
  • 7.50% - fixed for 4 to 5 years
  • 19.50% - fixed for 6 to 10 years
