L3Harris Airline Academy has been delivering cutting-edge pilot training in the UK, Europe and USA for over 40 years. Our experienced instructors and state-of-the-art facilities make us a global leader in pilot training and our graduates go on to fly for prominent airlines across the globe.
Our pilot training courses are designed to take aspiring aviators with little or no experience and train them to become commercial airline pilots. We have relationships with some of the world’s largest airlines and offer career advice and pilot pathways that help make the transition from cadet to pilot seamless.

L3Harris has state-of-the-art Airline Academies in UK, Portugal and Florida, US. As of November 2021, globally we have:

  • 130+ aircraft including Piper Archer PA28, Piper Archer Seminole, Diamond DA40 and Diamond DA42
  • 30+ Flight Training Devices (FTDs) ranging from Flat Panel Trainers all the way through to our world leading Reality7 Full Flight Simulator
  • 150+ Instructors
  • 800+ cadets in training

Approvals & Partnerships

L3Harris is approved and regulated by Aviation authorities including:

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
  • UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)

We also train pilots for international airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Saudia under the above regulators.

Entry Requirements

Cadets must be 18 when they start pilot training and be able to obtain a Class 1 Aero Medical.
