Alfa Flying School was established in 2007, operating out of 4 training bases: Jakarta Halim, Solo Adisumarmo, Cilacap Tunggul wulung, and Cirebon Cakrabuwana. The multiple locations over Java island can help students in getting accustomed to various geographic and flying condition. Since 2007 Alfa Flying School has produced a large number of pilots (300+) flying with various Indonesian Airlines.

The school believes good aviation training can only be achieved through a friendly environment and dedicated professional instructors. Alfa Flying School provides multiple training locations to enhance students training knowledge and preparing them for professional aviation career path. All training bases outside Jakarta are equipped with dormitory and free transport to/from airports. Dormitories are located near the airports to reduce commuting time.

The school has a fleet of 11 aircraft (Cessna 172s and 152s) and a Redbird FMX Simulator.
