Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline), at least 18 years of age, CAAP Class 1 Medical Certificate (at the time of the course commencement) & successful ADAPT Assessment exam and interview

Alpha Aviation Group Philippines is part of a global pilot training group which has training platforms in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines. Their presence in the Philippines is at Clark Freeport Zone, with its two parallel 3,200 meter runways, a full runway with approach lightings, instrument lighting system, VHF omni-directional range and distance measuring equipment (ILS/VOR/DME) approach aids and a full range of Air Traffic Control. The campus is located approximately 2 hrs drive from Manila International Airport. This school focuses purely on training cadets to become Airbus A320 first officers for airlines in the Philippines and in the region. The school has two full flight simulators (Airbus A320 and Airbus A330), in addition to an Airbus A320 fixed based simulator, FNPT II simulator and Airbus A320 Instrument Procedure Trainer. This large training infrastructure sets the school apart from other school by allowing training of cadets to become airline first officers. Alpha Aviation Group Philippines and Philippine Academy for Aviation Training are the only two academies in the country offering simulator type rating training, with Alpha Aviation Group having the only Airbus A330/340 hybrid-full flight Simulator in the Nation. The school has airline partnerships with Philippine Airlines, PAL Express, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Vietjet Air.

The school is ideally suited for students who want to become airline pilots upon completion of training. To assist students with the high training cost the school has partnered with a local bank, RCBC, to offer financing options to students. As the school train's a number of foreign students the school has an aviation English program to assist students reach the required English level.

Flight training is done both in Clark and San Fernando, La Union this gives the students exposure to a more remote airport for the initial stages of training before training at an international airport with large commercial airline traffic. The school uses a modern fleet of 10 Cessna 172s. Alpha Aviation Group Philippines states that they are both EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and ISO9001 approved which is unique in the Philippines. They have about 200 students from the Philippines, Vietnam and India. The school is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and Vietnam.

Its graduates fly with the flag carrier Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Vietjet to list a few. Since 2006, the academy has produced almost 700 pilots, more than 95% of whom have gone on to work for the region’s leading airlines mentioned foremost.
