Ardmore Flying School, located in Ardmore Papakura, has been training pilots since 1961 and is recognized internationally as a quality facility, providing consistently high standards in all aspects of flight training. Ardmore Flying School is New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) approved and hold the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (NZ CAA) Part 141 approval for flight training. This qualification and approval allow Ardmore Flying School to provide a Diploma in Aviation and licensing at all levels (Private Pilot License PPL, Commercial Pilot License CPL and Airline Transport Pilot License ATPL).

Ardmore Flying School fully-integrated flight training programs transform students into strong decisive and skilled pilots capable of operating at the highest levels in the ever-changing commercial and corporate sectors.  Ardmore Flying School owns modern and large fleet consisting of 17 Cessna 172, 3 multi-engine Beechcraft Duchess BE76’s and Garmin G1000 simulator, BE76 simulator and Beechcraft Kind Air Turboprop simulator.

It's location is Ardmore Airport which is situated just 33 kilometers from Auckland and 11 kilometers from Manuakau City. This allows the new students to better adapt and learn how to control and safely fly airplanes in a busy controlled airspace.

Ardmore Flying School has trained International students from China, Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and India.

The school offers Helicopter training and aircraft maintenance training as well.
