Asian Aviation Centre was established in 1985 and formerly known as CDE Aviation. It is located in Colombo Airport, Ratmalana, Sri Lanka. It has produced over 500 pilots in which includes Sri Lanka, and overseas students from India, Maldives, Iran, and Nepal. It is considered as the Premier Aeronautical Engineering and Flight Academy in Sri Lanka. In addition, it is known as the oldest operational flying training school in Sri Lanka.

Asian Aviation Centre has a fleet composed of Cessna 152 training aircraft and the only Multi Engine Aircraft for training in Sri Lanka, a Piper Seneca PA34.

It has forged its partnership with Kingston University London since 1997. Through this, it has adapted and delivered the latest curriculum needed in the study of aviation.
