Auckland Aero Club was established in 1928 with the aim to provide a safe and enjoyable level of flying for both recreational and commercial pilots. Since then the club has grown and became a Cessna accredited Pilot Center.

The following pilot training courses are on offer: Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Aerobatic and Night Rating.

The Auckland Aero Club training base is located at Ardmore Airport and the club has numerous spacious, comfortable club rooms, with café, bar and recreational facilities available. Friendly instructors and staff and a great social environment atmosphere provide the complete aviation experience for members and students.
