Bowling Green State University Aviation has been training students to work as airline pilots and corporate pilots since 1978. The flight school is an approved flight education program by Federal Aviation Regulations Part 141.

It is located in Wood County Regional Airport in Bowling Green, Ohio, USA.

The program is a combination of theory and hands-on practice, including cooperative education work experiences. The airport consists of 2 runways, one of which is 4200 feet.

BGSU Aviation is one of the few universities in the US that has an airport on main campus. It has around 60 personnel consisting of flight instructors, maintenance staff, and administrative staff.

Bowling Green State University Aviation has a huge fleet of 19 aircraft which includes 7 Piper Warrior III, 8 Piper Archer, 3 Piper Seminole, 1 Cessna 152, 1 full motion simulator, and 1 Frasca Simulator.

The flight also offers scholarships to students subject to certain standards and conditions.

Moreover, BGSU Aviation has a new flight center, Bowling Green Flight Center, which was opened in May 2015, the training center is 8,800 square feet with a 8,000 square foot hangar attached. In April 2019, the program built an additional 12,000 square foot hangar to accommodate the school's growing fleet of aircraft.

Bowling Green Flight Center is also an FAA Testing Center.
