BP3 Curug is a government owned pilot training school belonging to the Ministry of Transportation The school is led by the Head of Human Resources Development Department in the Civil Aviation Sector. BP3 Curug has the task to educate and train pilots for competencies in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Indonesian DGCA and in line with international standards. In an effort to achieve this vision, BP3 Curug training Center has the following mission: to educate and train the professional pilots to achieve and meet the international standards and to become most modern training center with maintaining state of the art educational facilities for development of science and technology.

BP3 Curug offers a variety of programs like Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Integrated Commercial (PPL+CPL+IR), Flight Instructor training, Pilot Refresher course, Flight Instructor Refresher course, Ground Instructor refresher course and Foreign and Military pilot license endorsements.

The main base of this training center is at Blimbingsari Airport which is an excellent location for practical training for the students. BP3 also owns 1950 m2 hangar, Dormitory and Hostel with capacity for a total of 150 students, modern classrooms, offices, laboratory, library, sports center and recreational room.
