Deraya Flying School was the first privately established flight school in Indonesia with more than 42 years of experience now. The main base of the school is located at Grha Intirub which is where all the ground school and simulator training is conducted. The flight training is conducted in east Jakarta at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport as well as Adisumarmo Airport (Solo), Tunggul Wulung Airport (Cilacap) and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport (Palembang). Deraya Flying School has the widest training area ready for use by students to implement flight training, this gives Deraya Flying School the advantage of shorter flight training duration.

Deraya Flying School training focuses on integrating all components to get students ready from the start to meet airline pilot requirements.

Deraya Flying School aircraft fleet consists of 10 Cessna 172s, 4 Piper Warrior II, 1 Cessna 172S and 1 Piper Seneca III.

A key advantage of the school is its alumni network which is said to be the largest in Indonesia.

Deyara Flying School currently does not own a full flight simulator so the type rating is done by another training organisation or an airline.
