Founded in 2006, Eagle Flight Training located just outside Auckland has become one of the most well internationally well known Flight Schools in New Zealand. It has earned its reputation as a global leader in the development and delivery of pilots learning programs that achieve specific training objectives and lasting behaviour change. Eagle Flight Training trains a large number of international students including Bahrain, Brunei, China, Emirates, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia,  Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Samoa, Singapore, Taiwan, Tonga, Vietnam. In addition the school is accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Vietnam Airlines.

Eagle Flight Training academy offers New Zealand Diploma in Aviation, Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Airline Transport Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine rating and night rating.

The school currently almost exclusively targets international students. Eagle Flight Training holds certification from the aviation authorities of Vietnam and Papua New Guinea, which provides formal recognition by these countries for the graduates. Eagle Flight Training fleet consists of DA-20, DA40, and DA42 multi-engine airplane all based at Ardmore Airport.
