Egyptian Aviation Academy was established in 1932 and is the only academy approved and authorized only and exclusively, for the Arab Republic of Egypt by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, to train in the field of civil aviation and not any other party.

The academy has its own three colleges, namely: Misr Flying College, Air Traffic Control College, and Aviation Management Training College, as a Regional Training Center in Africa and in the Middle East. These colleges are recognized and approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
