The school was created in 1990 by Captain Arturo E. Perlada Jr. (Airbus A320 Captain with JetStar Asia based in Singapore) and Captain Jerry E. Perlada (Airbus A320 Captain with Philippine Airlines), initially called Phoenix School of Aviation the name was changed to Fliteline Aviation School.
Fliteline Aviation uses a modern fleet of single engine (Cessna 172 and Cessna 152) and multi-engine (Piper Seneca PA34-200, Beechcraft Baron BE25) aircrafts. The modern aircraft were selected as they are preferred choices of training equipment by Airlines. It also has 3 simulators for training use: ELITE, Frasca 141 and Cirrus II. With this equipment, the school is able to offer Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor Rating and Multi-engine Rating.
Its location in Plaridel, Bulacan is on the outskirts of the Philippines Capital Manila providing great access to the city.
Fliteline Aviation School currently does not own a full flight simulator so the type rating is done by another training organisation or an airline.
