Genesa Flight Academy (GFA), located in Cilacap Central Java, is an aviation school that started operations in 2012. Founded by Capt. Rubyanto Adisarwono, an experienced pilot with a passion to improve the aviation education in Indonesia. Since its founding Genesa Flight Academy has trained more than 176 students over 9 batches using 21 certified instructors and has over 60 students enrolled this year.

Genesa Flight Academy primary base is at Tulung Wulung airport in Cilacap (the airport is shared with 4 other schools). From this location GFA provides an integrated training program to ensure the students gain maximum flight hours in a short amount of time. Training is completed using its fleet of Cessna 172, Piper PA34 Seneca, Super Decathlon and the School also has a famous Robinson R44 Helicopter. Additionally, GFA owns a Redbird MCX Simulator to be able to provide students with the most advanced equipment for training use.

Special features of Genesa Flight Academy:

  • Tuition fee is an all in Price - the tuition that students pay includes all basic living expenses such as accommodation, 3 meals a day, laundry, internet, transportation etc.
  • Payment plan - the training cost can be paid in up to 5 instalments
  • Short training duration - training is completed within 12-14 months
