Karachi Aero Club was established on 28th of July 1928 and known as Pakistan's first flying institution. It is located in Jinnah International Airport - Pakistan's largest international and domestic airport. It is also named after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan and it’s first Governor General.
Founded to study flying and the science of aeronautics, the pilot school has established itself as a center of information and advice on all matters pertaining to aeronautics. Karachi Aero Club is also considered as the most prestigious institution in Pakistan comprising elite families in Pakistan including senior government functionalities, foreign attaches, and senior executives of multinational corporations.

Karachi Aero Club has an aircraft fleet composed of Cessna 150, Cessna 152, and Cessna 172. It operates on a site called Gulshan-e-Iqbal with its own runway and hangar facilities. Furthermore, its teaching style through a world class instruction and up to date education helps students established themselves in the aviation industry.
Graduates from the pilot school have established their names both in national flag carrier and privates airlines. It has also trained pilots who earned the highest ranks in the Pakistan Air Force.
