L3 Commercial Training Solutions (formerly known as CTC Aviation and Aerosim Academy) is a global pilot training group with training locations in the United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand and Thailand. It's training platform in New Zealand is located in Hamilton (2 hours drive from Auckland). The training platform was established in 2004 and has 87 full-time employees and 58 full-time instructors. L3 Commercial Training Solutions is focussed on ab-initio to Air Transport Pilot License training with the primary focus being a competency for employment as first officers and ultimately command, in an international airline.
Around 250 cadets from variety of nationalities and airlines are enrolled annually, all targeted for airline employment.
