Madhya Pradesh Flying Club, Indore was established in 1951 and commenced it operations in 1955. It operates in Indore Satellite Base, and Bhopal Satellite Base. The head office is specifically located at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Civil Aerodrome, Indore.
It played a huge role in the Sino-Indian War in 1962 by training Indian Air Force Pilots for their initial flying. It also helped by offering its services including aircraft and maintenance staff to Indian Air Force during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Since its inception until 1962, the club operated aircraft belonging to MP State government. The club is DGCA approved.Course offered:

- Multi Engine Rating
- Instrument Rating (IR)
- Simulator/Instrument Procedures & Orientation Training
The club is a Member of Aero Club of India, New Delhi, as well as grantees of Institute of the M.P. State Govt. The Indian DGCA allowed 'Hansa', a trainer aircraft, to the club for being the best performing flying club.
Madhya Pradesh Flying Club, Indore has three (3) aircraft fleet. The facilities are well maintained with latest teaching technologies including a library facility. There are also games facilities for recreation.
There are approximately 50 trainee pilots at Indore base. Furthermore, it has trained great Private Pilot License holders, Commercial Pilot holders, and Aeronautical Maintenance Engineers. It also provides regular flying training to National Cadet Corps.
However, there is no hostel available for the trainees. But the club assist them to getting paying guest easily within 1km from the club.
