PAL Aviation School also known as Philippine Airlines Aviation School, is the official flight school of the flag carrier of the Philippines - Philippine Airlines. It is located at Clark International Airport, approximately 2 hrs drive from Manila International Airport. PAL Aviation School (Philippine Airlines Aviation School) was the first Aviation School in Asia having been established in the early sixties. The Pilot training school only takes in a limited number of new pilot students every year (2 to 3 batches) it is therefore recommended to apply as early as possible!
The school has a fleet of 10 Cessna 172 Skyhawk (The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a four-seat, single-engine, high-wing fixed-wing aircraft) and focuses completely on a fully integrated ab-initio program (this means training you from no experience to having the skills to be an airline pilot all in one structured and continuous full time training course) to get the students First Officer airline ready. During training students will also train on one of the two simulators the school has which are a Red Bird SD and Frasca 142 flight simulator. Upon completion of training at PAL Aviation School (Philippine Airlines Aviation School) the students will interview with Philippine Airlines. The flight school does not own a full flight simulator and the advanced simulator training (type rating component of training) is conducted at Philippine Airlines internal Airbus A320 full flight simulator.
