Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (PAAT), based in Clark (approximately 2 hrs drive from the Philippines capital Manila, is a joint venture between the global pilot trainer and simulator manufacturer CAE (and Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence-AACE) and Cebu Pacific. The simulator center and type rating training organisation (TRTO) provides aviation training for Cebu Pacific, Air Asia Philippines and commercial pilot license holders looking to obtain their Airbus A320 type rating.

Philippine Academy for Aviation Training facility contains 2 modern CAE Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulators accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. Philippine Academy for Aviation Training the type rating training organisation provides Airbus A320 type rating to both Filipino and foreign students. PAAT is one of two training organisations in the Philippines which offers Airbus A320 type rating, the other one being Alpha Aviation Group Philippines.

Philippine Academy for Aviation Training offers students a direct interview with Cebu Pacific, the majority owner of the Type Rating Training Center, following completion of the Airbus A320 Type Rating. Students will also be exposed to Cebu Pacific and Air Asia experienced pilots as both Airlines do their regular recurrency with PAAT. Cebu Pacific is open to employing foreign students and a large number of foreign students have historically done their Airbus Type Rating with Philippine Academy for Aviation Training. PAAT is the ideal place to get your Philippines Type Rating but in the past the Type Rating Center has also been accredited by other regulatory bodies from around the region.

AACE is the training arm of the Air Asia Group based in Malaysia which is a partnership between the Air Asia Group and CAE.
