Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAAA), located at Amman Civil Airport, was established in 1966 to become a regional leader in Flight Training. The Academy is certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC) which is recognized from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). RJAAA has trained a large number of Jordanian and International Students including pilot training for Airlines.

The flight school has 23 aircraft fleet of different types which includes 12 PA-28-161 Warrior III, 4 PA-44-180 Seminole, 3 PA-28-161 Warrior II, 2 PA-28-181 Archer III, 1 PA-28-201 Arrow, and TB-20 Trinidad. 19 of these aircraft are single engine while 4 are multi engine. Moreover, it has 5 simulators.

The training is conducted using 70 modern classrooms equipped with all required visual aids and training facilities for theoretical training. In addition to its main campus in Amman Civil Airport-Marka, Royal Jordanian Air Academy has established another campus in the southern city of Aqaba in Jordan.
