18 years of age and hold an appropriate immigration visa, Class 1/2 medical, willing to undergo an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) check, English Language 5.5 IELTS or TOEFL 530 (paper based)

Sunshine Coast Aero Club, located in Marcoola, is the focal point for recreational flying in South-East Queensland and is the only ‘not for profit’ RAAus (Recreational Aviation Australia) and CASA approved Flight Training Facility on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Sunshine Coast Aero Club was first established in 1959. Since then both the airport and the club have grown substantially.

The Sunshine Coast Aero Club is now one of the leading flight training facilities on the Sunshine Coast. With a focus on providing top quality, affordable training courses in Light Sport Aircraft and advanced skills flight training in General Aviation, from Aerobatics and Spinning to Formation. Members have access to a number of club aircraft for private hire and with a very active membership, social activities occur on a regular basis. Sunshine Coast Aero Club is also a big supporter of the local community and frequently hosts events in aid of local causes etc.

Sunshine Coast Aero Club facilities include a licensed Bar, air conditioning, complimentary Wifi, Air-side viewing + Beer Garden, Private Car Park, Pool Table, 3x Briefing Rooms, Student Computer and it is open 7 Days a week.

Flight Training

At the Sunshine Coast Aero Club the aim is to provide the utmost professional training at an affordable price in a fun environment.
