Trans Asia Pacific Aviation Training (TAPAT), located in Surabaya, was founded in 2015 by TransNusa Airlines. The flight schools offers the majority of its students a job at TransNusa after finishing the training as the Airline owns a couple of ATR-42’s, ATR-72 and F50. The Trans Asia Pacific Aviation Training pilot school is located at Trunojoyo Airport Madura which is quiet and not a busy airport for the students.

Trans Asia Pacific Aviation Training offers Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating on 2 Piper PA28 Warrior airplanes and also on a sophisticated simulator Frasca 141/142. Cadets are housed in the newly completed hostel which is located within a walking distance from the airport. It is a 3 floors building with 13 rooms, a kitchen, and living room and is able to accommodate a total of 36 occupants.
