Established in 1964, the University Flying Club (UFC) is a non-profit organisation with the aim of providing more affordable flying to the university community. University Flying Club members include university students, university staff, and associates, however, University Flying Club also welcome membership from non-university pilots. Although originally affiliated with the University of Western Australia, the UFC is no longer affiliated with any one particular university.

The University Flying Club is located at Air Australia International at Jandakot Airport (YPJT) where there is access to professional flying instructors. With a modern 2011 PiperSport aircraft, UFC is a great option for both those interested in learning to fly and experienced pilots who fly for fun. Their aircraft is one of the newest and most affordable aircraft available for both training and private hire at Jandakot.
