University of Turkish Aeronautical Association was established by Aviation Foundation of the Turkish Aeronautical Association and started its operation in 2011. It is known as the first university in Turkey having 4 campuses in 3 cities in Turkey.

The flight school has 2 airports in Etimesgut-Ankara and Selcuk-İzmir. Its main campus is located in Ankara, Turkey.

The pilot training program is offered under the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The duration takes 4 years with first year about basic engineering education; second year for private pilot training; third year for VFR and Night Rating training and; fourth year for commercial pilot training.

Training is done in a fleet of 26 aircraft which includes 16 Cessna 172, 2  Tecnam P2002jf, 3  Slingsby T-67M, 2 Tecnam P2006T, 2 Cessna 402B , 1 Cessna 421 and 2 Flight Navigation and Procedures Trainer (FNPT) II simulator.

Further, the flight school has Turkey’s biggest squadron for aviation training with its 77 hi-tech planes for different missions and the first and only university in Turkey specializing in aviation and aerospace. It has 6 full capacity aerodromes (to be used as training laboratory), and 2 operator towers with Instrument Landing System (ILS) equipment.
