Located in the central North Island of New Zealand, just a five-minute drive from Hamilton City, Waikato Aviation has been providing flight training and aerial services to the Waikato since 1933. It offers an enjoyable environment for budding career pilots and leisure aviators.

Waikato Aviation operates a fleet of four aircraft both high and low wing, from two-seat to a fully IFR twin and a twin IFR simulator. The Waikato Aero Club offers a full time two-year training course. Successful completion of this course earns the New Zealand Diploma in Aviation. The NZ Diploma in Aviation (Level 6) provides flight training up to a Commercial Pilot Licence with an Instrument Rating and an NZQ.
