Alpha Aviation Group (AAG)

School Highlights

Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) is the Philippine’s premier provider of innovative, high quality, and game-changing pilot training solutions for the domestic and Asia Pacific markets. AAG is part of a global pilot training Group headquartered in the UK and is globally recognized as a training institution that trains and produces world-class pilots.
AAG’s vision is to see “An AAG-trained pilot in every flight deck in the regions we serve”. The Group’s mission is “To train and develop world-class pilots and aviation leaders by providing top-of-class training solutions”. The Group believes in the core values of “Service Excellence, Teamwork and Customer Satisfaction”.
The institution’s portfolio of top-of-class training solutions is backed by world-class training philosophy and support infrastructure. AAG has the sufficient technical expertise, track record, infrastructure, support systems, and tools critical in delivering world-class pilot training solutions suited to the requirements of its clients and partners. Currently, it is the biggest training institution in the country operating two (2) Approved Training Organizations (ATO) or flight schools: AAG International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) delivering the basic flight training phase and AAG Philippines delivering the simulator flight training phase. The Group operates the largest and most advanced fleets of basic flight training aircraft and simulator flight training devices. AICAT and AAGP are the only ISO 9001:2015 certified ATOs in the Philippines. The Group’s core quality, safety and compliance systems adhere with the highest standard in the world.

AICAT and AAGP are the first ATOs in the country to pioneer a course design which incorporates the full adoption and implementation of the CBTA (Competency Based Training and Assessment) philosophy across all training modules and phases. This innovative “outcomes-focused” training approach aims to develop and nurture among trainees the necessary pilot competencies to be safe, highly-resilient, reliable, critical-thinker and effective cockpit manager when flying an aircraft. This is a departure from the “qualification-based” traditional training approach designed to enable trainees to demonstrate the minimum skill, knowledge and experience levels just to meet the qualification requirements prescribed by civil aviation authorities. The CBTA training framework enables learning and innovation rather than just passing a test.

The training knowledge fundamentals are anchored on the internationally recognized Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) standards and best practices. This ensures that the trainees gain an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the different concepts and systems in aviation. The robust learning structure that an ATPL-based program presents, ensure that trainees gain a wider perspective in the profession and the industry as a whole.

AAG is Creating the Future Now. The institution’s initiatives are geared towards propelling the country into becoming a premier civil and military training and maintenance hub in the region.
