How to get student pilot license (SPL)?
In order to get a Student Pilot License (SPL), you have to meet the following minimum qualifications:
- At least 16 years of age
- Holds a medical certificate
- Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
The above-mentioned qualifications may vary per country. There are some countries where you can already be issued an SPL younger than 16 years old. Required proficiency in your country’s primary language may also be necessary. It’s always best to check with your country’s Civil Aviation Authority to ensure that you have all the right information with regard to all the minimum requirements set forth in your country before you start your pilot training.
